Facebook Smartphone…powered by Windows Phone?

Im Internet gibt es mal wieder wilde Gerüchte um das Facebook Smartphone, mir einer krassen Distanz zu Google und einer Annäherung an Microsoft.

Ein Facebook Smartphone auf der Softwarebasis von Windows Phone? Da zitiere ich doch mal gerne die ganzen Facebook “Me gusta”-Comics, “Dafug?”. Ja als ich diese Nachricht gelesen habe musste ich schon erst mal stutzen. Dann habe ich etwas überlegt und dann noch mal gestutzt und wenn ich ehrlich bin weiß ich immer noch nicht direkt was ich davon halten soll. Facebook Smartphones kennt man ja bisher von HTC wie bei HTC Salsa und HTC ChaCha, allerdings gibt es ja schon länger Gerüchte um ein Facebook Smartphone mit mehr oder weniger eigenem Betriebssystem von Facebook. Mehr oder weniger eigenes Betriebssystem sage ich deshalb weil bisher immer über eine abgespeckte Android-Version wie beim Amazon Kindle Fire berichtet wurde. Jetzt gibt es aber neue Spekulationen ob das Soziale Netzwerk mit 900 Millionen Nutzern nicht auf die Microsoft Softwarebasis setzt. Laut Businessinsider versucht nämlich Microsoft im Moment Facebook davon zu Überzeugungen Windows Phone als Basis für ein Facebook Smartphone zu nutzen. Klar Microsoft braucht Nutzer, Facebook ist bekannt und beliebt und dazu hält Microsoft ca. 1,6% am Sozialen Netzwerk, wäre also ideal für Microsoft. Was genau hätte aber Facebook davon? Nun ja, Facebook und Google sind keine guten Freunde und deswegen möchte Facebook nicht unbedingt auf die Smartphone Plattform von Google setzten, eine alternative würde da Microsoft bieten. Dazu ist Windows Phone 7.5 wohl das mobile Betriebssystem, welches man am ehesten als Facebook Betriebssystem bezeichnen könnte. Microsoft hätte gerne etwas was man als Facebook Phone, powered by Windows Phone bezeichnen könnte.

Businessinsider hat auch mal (leider nur auf Englisch) ein paar Vorteile für Microsoft bzw. Facebook bei einer solchen Kooperation entstehen würden:

Microsoft wants to do something like PayPal, but in the physical world. It wants to get there before Google figures out how to fix Google Wallet.

Microsoft is not particularly interested in the concept of location-based advertising.

Die Idee finde ich nicht so schlecht, da gerade viele Jugendliche sowieso nur Facebook am Smartphone nutzen. Windows Phone hat in der aktuellen Version sowieso schon eine tiefe Facebook Integration, wer weiß was da bei Windows Phone 8 (oder später?) mit der direkten Unterstützung von Facebook noch so möglich wäre? Ich finde das auf jeden Fall ziemlich spannend, auch wenn ich nicht an den Erfolg von direkten Facebook Phones glaube, ich denke das die meisten ein Smartphone wollen mit dem einfach alles möglich ist, wobei das ja bei einem Facebook Phone nicht ausgeschlossen wäre.
